Fifth Graders enjoy reading outside

Mrs. Stange’s class read independently in our outdoor classroom. Our whole class has also been reading Esperanza Rising by Pam Munoz Ryan. An important moment in the book is when Esperanza lays on the ground and hears what her dad called the heartbeat of the earth. The fifth graders decided to lay down in the grass and on the playground to find out what they could hear and why!
