First Graders work together

Students in first grade have been working on SOCIAL SKILLS to complete challenges in EL (literacy curriculum) such as the cup tower challenge and the string challenge.  They practiced working together to make the highest cup tower and also to create shapes with a string while not removing their hands from the string.  These opportunities to practice and use social skills help students learn and grow as humans.
