Teaching:
I have been with DMPS for 3 years. I taught Kindergarten for 1 year. This is my second year teaching 3rd Grade.
My hope and dream for my students this year is for them to develop curiosity about their learning and the world around them. I want them to communicate their ideas and cooperate with other students. I want my students to take risks and try new things. I hope to develop a strong classroom community where students are caring, confident, and strive to become life long learners.

Teaching Experience:
I have been with DMPS for 17 years. (15 years at Stowe)
My first year I taught a 1st/2nd grade combination class. Then I taught 1st grade for 1 year. 2nd grade for 1 year and the other 13 years teaching Kindergarten. This is my first year teaching 3rd grade.
My hope and dreams for students this year is for them to become risk-takers, to try things that are new for them. I want them to become independent learners who want to learn more about themselves and the world around them. I want them to be caring individuals and learn why it’s important that we help each other and the world we live in. I want them to enjoy their school experience and share that enjoyment and learning experience with their families.
