4th graders explore their new unit
4th grade is well underway with their new unit, Where We Are in Place and Time! Students have started with Line of Inquiry 1, historical conflicts. They’re using the Key Concept of Form (What it is like?) to learn more about the conflict they chose. Students got to pick from a list of conflicts like WWI, WWII, Vietnam War, Civil War, and many more. To get the kids started with their learning, they’re finding the answers to the following questions: 1) Who was involved in the conflict? 2) What happened during the conflict? 3) When did the conflict take place? and 4) Where did the conflict take place? Students will be moving onto Line of Inquiry 2, how different beliefs may lead to change, very soon. Make sure to ask your 4th graders about what they’ve learned so far doing their research!
