The Iowa Assessment is given to all students in grades 3-11 between March 29 and April 11. In preparation for the statewide exam, Stowe Elementary School held a Rock the Test assembly on Friday. The East High band/color guard was on hand to fire up the crowd, and K-2 students cheered on their 3-5 grade school mates in preparation to succeed on the Iowa Assessment. Congratulations are in order for Joe McCright who besides teaching Spanish at Stowe Elementary School is the Building Technology Specialist there. He is one of 50 educators from across the country to be named a 2016 LearningMedia Digital Innovator by the Public Broadcasting Service.
